• Contact & Prayer Requests — name, email, phone, and your message. Prayer requests can be marked confidential.
• Event Registration — name, email, and phone, so we can confirm your spot and send event reminders.
• Plan Your Visit — name, email, phone, preferred visit date, and any notes.
• Comments & Suggestions — your name and message on event pages. These are reviewed by an admin before appearing publicly.
• Giving — if you give via M-Pesa, your phone number and transaction details are processed by Safaricom's M-Pesa platform. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or full payment card details.
• Member Directory & Baptism Records — for members, church staff may record your name, photo, contact details, and membership/baptism dates to maintain church records and issue certificates.

How We Use It

• To respond to your messages and prayer requests
• To confirm event registrations and send related updates
• To follow up on visit requests and welcome first-time visitors
• To maintain accurate church membership and baptism records
• To moderate public comments before they're published
• To process donations and issue giving confirmations

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Third-Party Services

A few trusted third parties help us run this site:

• FormSubmit.co — delivers messages from the Contact and Prayer Request forms to our email.
• Safaricom M-Pesa — processes mobile-money donations.
• Cloudinary — hosts photos and videos uploaded through the site.
• Each of these providers has its own privacy practices for the data that passes through them.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie we set is a secure, essential session cookie used to keep an administrator signed in to the church admin portal — it is not used to track visitors and is not shared with any third party.

Data Retention & Your Rights

We keep information for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, membership records are kept as part of the church's permanent records, while event registrations are kept for planning and historical purposes.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for future contact, at any time by emailing cjckenya@gmail.com.

Children's Information

Where children's ministry involves collecting a child's information, it is provided by and managed with a parent or guardian's consent.
